The New Toyota 4Runner for Sale in Grand Island

The Toyota 4Runner is known for its durability and long life. This classic mid-size SUV combines power, off-road capability, and an interior that is ready for adventure. Drivers in Buffalo love it for its tough interior and large cargo area. Let's see why a 2020 Toyota 4Runner is an excellent choice if you are looking for an SUV.

What's New?

In 2019, Toyota made some significant improvements to the 4Runner, and this year they added even more features. Many of the upgrades for 2020 were in safety and connectivity technology. They added a pre-collision system with automatic braking, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beams, and adaptive cruise control. They also upgraded the infotainment screen system from a 6.1-inch to eight-inch touchscreen.

Toyota also added Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility and rear USB ports. The instrument cluster was also redesigned to include a 4.2-inch screen with a trip meter and real-time fuel-economy data. Some trims also received smart key ability and push-button start. You can also choose a Toyota 4Runner in four new colors that include black, gray, green, and white.

When it comes to performance, the new Toyota 4Runner is more than capable of navigating some dirt. It has a controlled and stable feel. Its capable 4x4 system can crawl across rocks and the most challenging terrain. The 4Runer has an adjustable traction control system that has several terrain modes. Grand Island drivers can select the one that is right for your current situation.

The power behind the 4Runner's capability is an available 4.0-Liter V6 24-valve DOHC engine. It has variable valve timing (VVT) and can produce 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque. This is more than enough for some off-road fun in the mud and snow.

The interior of the Toyota 4Runner might not be as luxurious as a family SUV, and it is designed more for functionality than artistry. Toyota focused on durability and plenty of cargo space. The no-nonsense interior design has more than enough room to be comfortable, and plenty of cargo room in the back.

When engineers designed the 4Runner, the focus was on the utility component of this sport utility vehicle. The fold-flat second-row seats give you more than enough space to haul the gear that you need for your trip. The sliding rear cargo deck makes it easy to load and unload larger objects. It even has a 120V AC power outlet in the cargo area.

This year, you have plenty of new Toyota 4Runner trims from which to choose. If you only need the basics to get you from point A to point B reliably, the base SR5 might be what you are looking for, but if this is not enough, then you have plenty more choices.

The SR5 Premium is a step up from the base. If you are serious about some off-road adventures, the TRD Off-Road has features to tackle the terrain. The TRD Off-Road Premium takes it even further with a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds.

The interior is practical, but that does not mean that it is completely stripped of creature comforts. If you want a family SUV that is comfortable, and that has a few amenities, Toyota has a trim to meet your needs. The Venture Special Edition, Limited, and TRD Pro offer amenities like heated seats and a few more performance features. If you are looking for something a bit more stylish, the Nightshade Edition might be just what you need.
